Who are we looking for?

We are searching for a flexible, adaptable, and passionate individual eager to learn and grow, to join us as a Senior PHP Developer within our VFG Consulting vertical, primarily focused on Software Development.

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing existing web applications, ensuring their performance, security, and scalability while addressing client requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance PHP applications.
- Implement and maintain secure and scalable architectures.
- Integrate RESTful or SOAP services and APIs into web applications.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless application consistency.
- Optimize relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) to improve application performance.
- Conduct code reviews and follow best development practices.
- Document processes, code, and workflows to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development using frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with MVC architectures and SOLID principles.
- Proficiency with Git and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Expertise in API and microservices integration.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
- Knowledge of frontend technologies like JavaScript, Vue.js, or React is a plus.
