Who are we looking for?
We are searching for a flexible, adaptable, and passionate individual eager to learn and grow, to join us as Security Champion within our UrudevOps vertical, primarily focused on Cloud Services & DevOps.
As a Security Champion, you will play a pivotal role in embedding cybersecurity practices across the organization, acting as a bridge between technical teams and business units. Your mission is to promote a strong security culture, lead the adoption of security measures, and ensure the implementation of best practices in every part of the organization. By collaborating with key stakeholders, educating teams, and aligning security initiatives with business goals, you will ensure that security is prioritized and effectively integrated into daily operations, helping to protect the organization's assets and data in an increasingly complex digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the Cybersecurity program: Establish and evolve a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that protects the organization's information assets, technology, systems, and infrastructure across a rapidly changing digital ecosystem.
- Cybersecurity Culture Builder: You have a proven track record of establishing and nurturing a cybersecurity-first culture within an organization, through training, education, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Set and enforce security policies: Implement cybersecurity practices that align with industry standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders: Work closely with business units, external partners, and government cybersecurity authorities to assess, manage, and mitigate cybersecurity risks while supporting organizational goals.
- Communicate cybersecurity risks effectively: Articulate the importance of cybersecurity to the business, ensuring that employees at all levels understand its critical impact on operations and long-term success.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity experts: Build and lead a team of subject matter experts, provide guidance, and continuously assess resource needs to scale and improve the cybersecurity program.
Requirements
- Technical skills: Extensive knowledge of security controls and technologies, such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), public key infrastructure (PKI), identity and access management (IDAM) systems, antivirus and firewalls, in addition to newer offerings such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration, deception technologies, and application controls.
- Work Experience with one or more of the following: ISO 27001, NIST, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Center for Internet Security (CIS) standards or Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2, FedRamp Moderate-High.
- English Level: Excellent skills, both written and spoken; German language skills it’s a plus

- Financial and Resource Management: You possess strong financial acumen, project scheduling skills, and the ability to manage and optimize workforce resources to achieve cybersecurity objectives.
- Strategic and Customer-Focused: You take an enterprise-wide approach to decision-making, with a strategic mindset that aligns security priorities with business needs while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes and customer success.
